If you ask five web companies in Cairo for a price, you will probably get five answers between a few thousand pounds and well over 50,000 EGP. That gap is real, and it is not only about who is cheaper. It comes from what is actually being built, what is included, and what you will still have to pay for every year.
This guide gives you realistic 2026 ranges in Egyptian pounds, explains what moves the price, and lists the costs that usually appear after launch, so you can compare offers fairly.
Typical website prices in Egypt in 2026
A pricing guide published by the Egyptian agency Geexar in July 2026 gives these market ranges. They are a useful starting point, not a fixed price list.
| Type of website | Typical range (EGP) |
|---|---|
| Personal or portfolio site | 3,000 – 8,000 |
| Professional WordPress site | 6,000 – 15,000 |
| Company or organisation website | 8,000 – 20,000 |
| Online store | 15,000 – 50,000+ |

The lower end of each range usually means a ready-made template with your logo and text dropped in. The upper end, and beyond it, usually means a design made for your brand, more pages, two languages, and features such as online payment or integrations with other systems.
What makes a website cost more
- Custom design instead of a template. A design built around your brand takes more hours than adjusting a theme.
- Number of pages. A 5-page site and a 30-page site are different projects.
- Arabic and English. A proper bilingual site needs right-to-left layouts and translated content, not just a translation plugin.
- Online payments and shipping. Connecting a payment gateway and a shipping company adds setup and testing time.
- Integrations. Linking the site to an ERP, CRM or booking system is often the most expensive part.
- Who writes the content. If the agency writes your texts and prepares your photos, expect to pay for it.
The yearly costs people forget
The design price is a one-time cost. A website also has running costs every year, and a quote that hides them is not really cheaper.
- Domain name renewal, for example yourcompany.com or yourcompany.com.eg.
- Hosting, the server that keeps the site online.
- Business email on your own domain, if it is not included with hosting.
- Updates, backups and security monitoring, especially for WordPress sites.
- Paid plugins or theme licences that renew every year.
Ask every company you talk to for a first-year total that includes these items. That single number makes offers much easier to compare.
Red flags in a cheap offer
- The domain is registered in the agency name instead of yours.
- You will not get the admin login to your own website.
- Nothing is written down: no page list, no delivery date, no number of revision rounds.
- Pirated (nulled) themes or plugins, which often carry malware and never receive security updates.
- No plan for what happens after launch, such as who fixes problems and how fast.
Questions to ask before you pay
- Exactly which pages and features are included?
- Will the domain, hosting account and admin access be in my name?
- Is the site in Arabic, English or both, and who translates the content?
- What will I pay every year after the first year?
- Who updates and backs up the site after launch?
What Cairo Cloud charges
Our WordPress website packages start from 20,000 EGP one-time for a starter company site of up to 5 pages, and 40,000 EGP for a business site with up to 15 pages, a fully custom design and a blog. Larger projects with integrations and several languages are priced by quote. Online stores start from 25,000 EGP.
These prices sit above the cheapest offers in the market because every package includes a responsive design, SEO setup and support after launch: one month on the starter package and three months on the business package. If you need the site in both Arabic and English, mention it in your request so it is priced in from the start. Hosting, domains and business email are available from us too, so you deal with one team.
